Buckeye Hills is located west of Greenfield, Ohio among the lovely hills and valleys of southern Ohio. Be sure to stop by and hear about plans and activities for the season.
Buckeye Hills Country Club features 18 holes of challenging golf in beautiful surroundings. The course was built in the late 1960s and has undergone continuous improvement in the years since opening. The course rating/slope is as follows:
WHITE: 71.2 / 125
GOLD: 68.9 / 119
RED: 68.6 / 117
IMPROVEMENTS: Over the years hundreds of trees have been planted, an irrigation system helps make the greens some of the best in southern Ohio, and the continuous paved cart path allows play and golf cart use in wet conditions. Ponds and sand traps have been added, and every effort has been made to preserve the area's natural beauty.
HIGHLIGHTS: Golfers will enjoy the rolling hills and beauty of the course. Every golfer has his favorites. Many speak in glowing terms of the 308-yard No. 5, which allows golfers to tee off downhill onto a fairway with trees on either side. This one offers a spectacular view anytime, but especially when the autumn leaves have changed colors. No. 7 features a dogleg to the right and a picturesque green nearly surrounded by trees. The course blends shorter par 3's with some challenging par 4's and 5's, including No. 16 at 574 yards and several in the high 400-yard category.
The course rewards accuracy but offers some shortcuts for those who dare to try their luck.
